Holiday Fruit Bars
Holiday Fruit Bars is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. sifted flour, 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder, 3/4 tsp. salt, 3 eggs and 1 c. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Sift together and set aside flour, baking powder and salt. Beat eggs and sugar until thick and lemon colored.
Add chocolate morsels, nutmeats, raisins, dates, cherries, pineapple, cherry juice and grated rind.
Fold into flour mixture.
Pour into two greased waxed paper lined pans, about 9 1/2 x 5 1/2 x 2 3/4-inch. Bake at 340Β° for 25 to 30 minutes.
Yields about 4 dozen bars.
