Hill of Beans Salad
Hill Of Beans Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 strips bacon, chopped, 1/2 c. sugar, 1 tbsp. cornstarch, 1 tsp. seasoned salt and 1/4 tsp. pepper, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Put bacon in 2-quart casserole.
Microwave on High for 3 to 4 minutes, stirring after 2 minutes.
With slotted spoon, remove bacon and place on towels to drain.
Blend sugar and cornstarch with bacon drippings.
Stir in salt, pepper and vinegar. Microwave on High for 3 to 4 minutes, until thick.
Add drained beans, onion and celery slices to sauce in casserole, stirring well.
Cover.
Microwave on High for 6 minutes, stirring after 3 minutes.
Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
Sprinkle bacon on top.
Preheat before serving.
Even better the next day.
