Hilda's Pot Roast
Hilda'S Pot Roast is an moderately easy dinner. Made with any size beef rump, chuck or round roast, garlic powder, lawry's seasoned salt, 2 pkg. brown gravy mix and 1 c. wine (any table wine), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Brown roast in heavy pot.
Brown all sides, using no fat. Next, season with salt and garlic powder.
Cover and cook on low heat for 2 hours; do not add water!
Remove roast from pan; cover. Add water to gravy mix as per directions.
Add to pan gravy. Cook until thickened.
Add wine and mushrooms.
Slice roast and return to pan to reheat.
