Hershey Chewy Chocolate Cookies
Hershey Chewy Chocolate Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/4 c. butter or margarine, softened, 2 c. sugar, 2 tsp. vanilla, 2 c. unsifted plain flour and 1 c. finely chopped nuts (optional), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Cream butter and sugar in large mixing bowl.
Add eggs and vanilla; blend
Combine flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt; blend into creamed mixture.
Stir in nuts.
Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350Β° for 8 to 9 minutes.
(Do not overbake!)
Cool on cookie sheet until set, about 1 minute.
Yields 4 1/2 dozen.
