Helen's Chocolate Cake
Helen'S Chocolate Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/3 c. crisco, 2 c. sugar, 2 eggs, 1 c. buttermilk and 2 1/4 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Cream Crisco and sugar and add eggs.
Alternate buttermilk with dry ingredients.
Add vanilla and soda-water mixture.
Batter will be thin.
Pour into greased pan and bake 40 minutes at 325Β° or until done, depending upon size of pan.
Does not need frosting.
