Heavenly Pound Cake
Heavenly Pound Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. butter, softened, 1 (1 lb.) pkg. confectioners sugar, 5 eggs, 1 tsp. vanilla extract and 1 tsp. lemon extract, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Cream butter and confectioners sugar in large mixer bowl until light and fluffy.
Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Add flavorings alternately with flour, beating well after each addition.
Pour into greased and floured tube pan. Bake at 350Β° for 1 hour.
Cool in pan for 10 minutes.
Invert onto serving plate.
May spread with cream cheese icing if desired. Yield
16 servings.
