Heavenly Herb Jelly
Heavenly Herb Jelly is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 6 1/2 c. sugar, 2 c. water, 1 c. white vinegar, 1 c. fresh basil or rosemary leaves, lightly packed and 6 drops green or yellow food coloring, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

In large saucepan, combine first 4 ingredients and bring to boiling.
Add pectin.
Heat to full, rolling boil and boil hard 1 minute.
Remove leaves.
Pour liquid into hot, clean jelly glasses.
Cover with 1/8-inch hot paraffin.
Makes 7 half pints.
