Combine in mixing bowl the butter, sugar and eggs.

Beat for about 5 minutes or until creamy.

Add flour and vanilla.

Mix until smooth.

Add nuts, if you want them.

Pour into greased 13 x 9 baking pan.

Bake at 350Β° for 30 to 35 minutes (cake will fall in the middle).

When cake is done, turn off oven and pour about 1/2 bag of miniature marshmallows over top of cake.

Leave cake in oven while you make topping.
