Sausage beef. Add onion, tomato purée, tomato paste, sugar, pepper, basil and salt to the meat mixture. Cook manicotti shells; and set aside. Mix together the Ricotta cheese, Mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese and parsley; the cooked manicotti shells. Spoon meat sauce into baking pan.
Put stuffed shells on meat sauce.
Pour leftover sauce over shells; sprinkle with Parmesan. Preheat oven to 325° and bake for 30 minutes.
