Healthy Chili
Healthy Chili is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 lb. ground turkey, 1 large sweet onion, chopped, 2 sweet bell or chili peppers, chopped, 1 (12 oz.) can tomato sauce and 1 tbsp. chili powder, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Saute ground turkey in a large Dutch oven until no longer pink.
Add the vegetables and garlic.
Cook until crisp-tender. Add other ingredients.
Simmer 30 minutes.
Garnish with 1 tablespoon grated low-fat Cheddar cheese, if desired.
Serve with crusty bread or tortillas. (Also good served over a baked potato.) Serves 6.
