Hawaiian Sweet Potatoes
Hawaiian Sweet Potatoes is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 to 5 large sweet potatoes, 9 to 16 oz. crushed pineapple (undrained), 6 tbsp. butter or margarine, melted, 3/4 tsp. salt (optional) and pepper, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Boil sweet potatoes just until tender; peel.
In medium bowl, mash potatoes.
Stir in pineapple to taste, 2 tablespoons butter, salt and pepper.
Spoon into 1-quart ungreased casserole.
Combine remaining butter with bread crumbs, brown sugar and allspice. Sprinkle over potato mixture.
Bake in preheated 350Β° oven, 45 minutes.
