Hawaiian Sweet Bread
Hawaiian Sweet Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 envelope yeast, 1/2 c. warm water, 1 c. milk, 1 c. sugar and 1/2 c. butter, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Scald milk; add sugar, butter and salt.
Cool to lukewarm. Dissolve yeast in water.
Add beaten eggs to yeast.
Then add milk mixture.
Beat in 2 cups flour.
Add enough remaining flour to make a smooth dough that doesn't stick to hands.
Cover with damp dish towel and let rise 1 1/2 hours.
Divide into 2 parts and shape into round loaves.
Place on greased sheet and let rise another 1 to 1 1/2 hours or until doubled.
Brush with beaten egg yolk and bake at 350Β° for 35 to 40 minutes.
Brush with butter.
