Hawaiian Chicken
Hawaiian Chicken is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 to 3 lb. chicken (legs, thighs and breasts), salt, pepper, 1/2 to 3/4 c. barbecue sauce and 2 tbsp. honey, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Place chicken in a baking dish.
Season with salt and pepper. Bake at 400Β° for 30 minutes.
Meanwhile, drain pineapple.
Combine reserved juice, barbecue sauce and honey.
Pour over chicken and bake an additional 25 minutes, basting occasionally.
Arrange pineapple over chicken; bake 10 minutes longer.
(Fat can be drained off chicken before adding sauce.)
Serve chicken over steamed rice.
