Harvard Beets
Harvard Beets is an moderately easy dinner. Made with beets (cooked or canned), 1/2 c. sugar, 1 1/2 tbsp. cornstarch, 1/2 c. water and 1/2 c. vinegar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Mix sugar and cornstarch.
Add vinegar and water and boil 5 minutes.
Add beets, cover pan and let stand 1/2 hour.
Just before serving, place back on heat and bring to boil.
Remove and add butter.
