Hand mix ingredients and slowly add 4 to 6 cups of flour. Start with 4 to 4 1/2 cups and add enough to make a firm stiff mixture.

This is only a guide, about 5 cups may be enough, should be moist but not wet.

Bake at 350Β° for 35 minutes.

In 9 x 13-inch pan (lightly greased), hand score top, length and crosswise and sprinkle sugar lightly on top before baking.

Slice 1/2-inch butter.

Great with breakfast coffee.
