Haole Laulau
Haole Laulau is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen leafy spinach, 1 lb. pork butt, cut into 2-inch cubes, 1 clove garlic, chopped fine, 2 tsp. salt and 2 tsp. black pepper, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Place half of the spinach in the 9 x 13-inch pan.
Mix pork with garlic and arrange on top of the spinach.
Season with salt and pepper.
Arrange remaining spinach over the pork pieces. Cover pan with foil and bake in 350Β° oven for 1 hour.
Arrange yams on top and dot with butter.
Continue baking 1 hour.
