Hanky Pankies
Hanky Pankies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. ground chuck, 1 lb. ground mild sausage, 1 lb. velveeta cheese, 1/2 tsp. garlic salt and 1/2 tsp. chili powder, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Brown meat well and drain.
Add cheese to hot browned meat. Mix spices well into meat/cheese mixture.
Place rounded teaspoonful of mixture on each slice of bread.
(Do this on cookie sheets.)
Freeze.
Place in plastic freezer bags until ready to use.
When ready to cook, broil carefully 5 to 15 minutes.
(Too long and you have carbon crunchies!)
