Hand Lotion is an easy dinner. Made with 15-cent gum tragacanth, 1 oz. glycerine, 1 oz. bay rum, 1 oz. oil of rosemary or rose geranium oil and 1 qt. cistern water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Soak gum overnight in cistern water.
Strain and simmer on back of stove several hours.
Lastly add perfume oil and bottle.
