Made with 1 small green cabbage (about 1 lb) coarsely chopped, 1 box (7 oz) yellow rice mix with seasoning packet, 1 medium red bell pepper, chopped, 3 medium scallions, sliced (reserve sliced green tops) and 3 oz. lean ham, cut into 1/2 inch chunks (1 3/4 cups), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. In a large deep nonstick skillet, mix 2 cups water, cabbage, rice, seasoning packet, red bell pepper and white part of sliced scallions.
