Halibut Cheese Bake

Clean and rinse halibut.
Arrange pieces in single layer in bottom of 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
Dot with butter.
Bake at 375Β° for 1/2 hour basting with butter frequently.

(Mixture will stick to spoon in clumps.)
When halibut is almost done, top with cheese and mayonnaise mixture.
Continue to bake until cheese has melted and is lightly browned.
