Half Sour Pickles

Wash cukes and slice into 1/2-inch thick rounds.
Boil water, salt and vinegar in a large pot.
Remove from heat.
Let cool slightly.
Add spices, garlic, dill and cukes.
Place a plate over the cukes to keep them submerged.
Let sit overnight (about 8 hours).
Then they're ready to eat.
Store in the refrigerator.
