Cook first 3 ingredients over moderate heat.
Stir next 2 ingredients into grits. Remove from heat. Stir in eggs.
Pour into greased 9 x 12-inch casserole (or any large enough casserole). Bake 1 hour at 350°.
Better if made early in a.m. or day before. Bake at dinnertime.
Great with ham.
