Green Pea Casserole
Green Pea Casserole is an moderately easy dinner you can prepare in about 2 hours 20 minutes. Made with (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas, medium onion, chopped, celery ribs, c. margarine and (5 oz.) can water chestnuts, sliced, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Preheat oven
Cook peas per package directions, unseasoned and drained.
Set aside.
Saute onion and celery in the 1/2 cup margarine.
Add drained chestnuts, soup, flour and peas.
Mix together well and cook slightly.
Add salt and pepper to taste. Melt the
/4 cup margarine in skillet and add the herb dressing.
Set aside.
Pour all (except the dressing) into a medium casserole dish and bake at 350Β° for 25 minutes or until bubbly and hot.
Add dressing and brown slightly.
