Green Beans with Ham Hocks
Green Beans With Ham Hocks is an easy dinner. Made with 2 large ham hocks, 1 (no. 10) can string beans, pepper and seasoned salt to taste, 2 tbsp. sugar and 1 large onion, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
In covered saucepan, cook beans in small amount of water. Before you put the beans in, cook the ham hocks until meat is almost off the bone, then put in beans.
Pour the water from the can off; rinse the beans off, then place them in pot with the meat.
Cook until tender.
Cook this about 25 minutes.
Ten minutes before you cut the beans off, add the onion, cut up in small pieces.
