Grandpa Lund's Egg Nog
Grandpa Lund'S Egg Nog is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 6 eggs, separated, 3/4 c. sugar, 1 pt. heavy cream, 1 pt. milk and 1 pt. four roses whiskey, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Beat egg yolks, gradually adding 1/2 cup of sugar until fluffy.
Beat whites until very stiff; add 1/4 cup sugar to beaten whites.
Fold whites into yolks.
Stir in milk and cream.
Add Four Roses and rum.
Stir thoroughly.
Serve very cold with grated nutmeg.
