Grandma's Lima Beans
Grandma'S Lima Beans is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. dried baby lima beans, 3 tsp. salt, 3/4 c. butter or margarine, 3/4 c. brown sugar and 1 tbsp. dry mustard, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Soak dried limas overnight in water.
The next day, drain off the water.
Cover with fresh water and add 1 teaspoon of salt. Cook until tender, about 30 to 40 minutes.
Drain again.
Rinse under hot water and put in medium casserole.
Add butter.
Mix remaining ingredients in a small bowl and mix in lima beans lightly.
Bake in a 350Β° oven for 1 hour.
