Grandma's Italian Frosted Cookies
Grandma'S Italian Frosted Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 lb. butter, 1/2 lb. margarine, 1 heaping tbsp. crisco, 1 c. sugar and 6 eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Melt shortening.
Cool and add sugar, beaten eggs, vanilla and milk.
Make a well with dry ingredients and work until dough is smooth.
Take dough size of a walnut and form into a rope the size of you finger.
Shape into circles on board.
Makes approximately 12 dozen cookies.
Bake at 350Β° for 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly browned.
If dough is refrigerated several hours it is easier to work with.
