Grandma's Ginger Cookies
Grandma'S Ginger Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 egg, 1 c. white sugar, 3/4 c. shortening, 4 tbsp. molasses and 2 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Beat eggs, sugar, shortening and molasses together until smooth. Add flour, cinnamon, ginger, soda and salt.
Mix all ingredients together until well blended.
Form mixture into balls the size of walnuts.
Roll in sugar and place on lightly greased cookie sheet.
You can mash the balls or leave them round.
They will crack on top if left round.
