Combine the first 4 ingredients, mixing well.
Pour 1/4 cup scalded milk in egg mixture.
Stir well.
Then slowly add rest of milk, stirring constantly.
Pour mixture into pie crust.

Bake at 400° for 20 minutes; turn down to 375° until firm.
