Grandma's Casserole
Grandma'S Casserole is an moderately easy dinner you can prepare in about 1 hour 12 minutes. Made with c. each: onions, celery, green pepper and zucchini, . browned ground turkey or ground chuck or combination of each to make 1 lb., . seasoned salt, of oregano and garlic and (16 oz.) can italian stewed tomatoes, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Saute onions, celery, green pepper and zucchini.
Add ground turkey or ground chuck or combination of each to make one pound, salt, oregano, garlic, stewed tomatoes, tomato sauce, water and mushrooms.
Simmer 15 minutes.
Spray 9 x 13-inch pan with Pam. Spread 8 ounce uncooked noodles in bottom of pan.
Cover with sauce, then cover with 8 ounces low-fat skim Mozzarella cheese. Bake at 350Β° for 45 minutes.
Let stand 15 minutes before cutting. Cut into 8 servings.
