Gran's Easter-Egg Cake
Gran'S Easter-Egg Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 envelope unflavored gelatin, 1/2 c. cold water, 6 eggs, separated, 1 1/2 c. sugar, divided and 3/4 c. lemon juice, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

π¨βπ³ Instructions
Sprinkle gelatin over water and let soften.
Blend yolks and 3/4 cup sugar in top of double boiler.
Add lemon juice and rind and cook over simmering water, stirring constantly (do not let water touch bottom of pan).
When thick as medium white sauce, remove from heat.
Add softened gelatin and stir until dissolved. Chill until mixture thickens and mounds.
