Gooey Butter Cake
Gooey Butter Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 stick butter or margarine, 1 box yellow cake mix, 4 eggs, 1 box confectioners sugar and few pecans, chopped (optional), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Preheat oven to 350°; lower to 325° when you put cake in oven. Combine margarine, cake mix and 2 of the eggs and mix well. Mixture will be stiff. Spread in long Pyrex pan (9 x 13-inch greased pan).
If pecans are used, sprinkle over cake now. Combine cream cheese, flavoring, confectioners sugar and egg.
Mix well and spread over pecans or bottom layer.
Bake at 325° for 20 to 30 minutes.
Cool 30 minutes before cutting.
