Golden Chicken
Golden Chicken is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 lb. broiler fryer, 5 c. corn flakes (or 1 1/4 c. crushed), 1/4 c. chopped onion, 1/2 c. chopped celery and 1/4 c. butter, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Prepare chicken for roasting.
Melt butter in saucepan. Add onion celery, cook until tender.
Stir in seasoning and stock.
Remove from heat.
Add corn flake crumbs, tossing lightly.
Chicken, place in center of foil.
Brush with syrup from peaches.
Bring foil together over chicken.
Place in shallow roasting pan.
Roast in 450Β° oven for about 1 hour. Open foil and flatten in pan.
Place drained peaches, cup side up around chicken and baste with pan drippings.
Roast about 20 minutes longer.
