Glazed Nuts
Glazed Nuts is an easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. blanched whole almonds, cashews, raw peanuts or pecan halves, 1/2 c. sugar and 2 tbsp. butter or margarine, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
In a heavy 8-inch skillet combine nuts, sugar and butter or margarine.
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly for 6 to 8 minutes or until sugar is melted and golden in color and nuts are toasted.
Spread nuts on a buttered baking sheet or aluminum foil. Separate into clusters.
Sprinkle lightly with salt.
Cool. Makes about 1/2 pound.
