Ginny's Crescent Rolls
Ginny'S Crescent Rolls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. shortening, 1/2 c. sugar, 2 eggs, beaten, 1 c. warm water and 1 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Combine shortening, sugar, salt.
Add eggs.
Dissolve yeast in warm water.
Add water mixture and flour, knead until smooth. Let rise 1 - 2 hours.
Cut dough in half, roll each half in circle.
Spread melted butter on dough before cutting.
Cut into 1/16ths.
Roll from large end to small end making crescents. Bake at 350Β°F until light brown, approximately 15 to 20 minutes. Makes 32 rolls.
