Gingersnap Cookies
Gingersnap Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. shortening, 1 1/2 c. sugar, 2 eggs, 3/8 c. molasses and 2 1/4 tsp. baking soda, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Preheat oven to 350Β°.
Cream together shortening and sugar until well mixed.
Add eggs, one at a time and beat well.
Add molasses, then dry ingredients that have been combined.
Chill dough; roll into balls and into sugar.
Place on ungreased sheet and bake for approximately 12 to 15 minutes.
(Makes approximately 3 dozen.)
