Gingerbread(Heart Healthy) is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. molasses, 1/2 c. packed brown sugar, 1/2 c. safflower oil, 1 1/4 tsp. cinnamon and 1/2 tsp. ground cloves, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Using low speed of electric mixer, blend molasses, brown sugar, oil and spices.
Add boiling water.
Blend.
Gradually add flour.
Beat 2 minutes until smooth. Dissolve baking soda in 2 tablespoons hot water. Add to batter.
Blend.
Pour into an 8-inch sprayed or Teflon lined pan.
Bake at 350Β° for 25 to 30 minutes. Serve with whipped cream substitute.
