German Sweet Chocolate Dessert
German Sweet Chocolate Dessert is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 bars german sweet chocolate, 2 tbsp. boiling water, 4 tbsp. powdered sugar, 4 eggs, separated and ladyfingers or sponge cake, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Cook first 3 ingredients over boiling water in a double boiler until chocolate is melted and the mixture is slightly thickened. Remove from heat.
Add 4 egg yolks, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
(When separating, keep a yolk in each half shell.)
Add 4 egg whites, which have been beaten stiff.
