German Potato Salad
German Potato Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with onion, chopped, 6 medium potatoes, cooked and sliced when cool, celery, chopped, 1/2 lb. bacon and 3/4 c. vinegar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Cook and slice potatoes. Add chopped onion and celery to taste.
Cut bacon into small pieces and fry but do not drain fat. Add vinegar and sugar.
Bring to a boil, adding flour to thicken, not thickly, but transparent.
Add potatoes, onion and celery. Serve warm or cold.
Salt and pepper to taste.
