German Potato Salad
German Potato Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 7 large potatoes, boiled, cooled and peeled, 5 strips bacon, diced, 1 large onion, minced, 1 heaping tbsp. flour and 1/2 to 3/4 c. cider vinegar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Fry bacon and onion together slowly.
Add the flour, vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper.
Turn heat off.
Taste.
It must be quite sour.
Mix the celery and green pepper, then the sliced, cooled potatoes.
Add to the bacon mixture.
Warm slowly, so it won't burn.
