German Potato Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 6 slices bacon, 1/2 c. chopped onion, 2 tbsp. all-purpose flour, 2 tbsp. sugar and 1 1/2 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

In skillet, cook bacon until crisp; drain and crumble, reserving cup drippings.
Reserved drippings until tender, but not brown.
Blend in flour, sugar, celery seed and pepper.
Add vinegar and 1 cup of water.
Cook and stir until thickened.
Bacon, potatoes and eggs. Heat through, tossing lightly.
Garnish with parsley, if desired. Serves 8 to 10.
