German Potato Salad
German Potato Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 8 slices bacon, 1/3 c. water, 3 tbsp. vinegar, 1 tbsp. sugar and 2 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Fry bacon until crisp; drain well, reserving 2 tablespoons bacon fat.
Add water, vinegar, sugar, salt, pepper and mustard to bacon fat and heat, stirring, until sugar is dissolved and mixture boils.
Add potatoes and onion and toss gently until most of dressing is absorbed.
Fold in sour cream, parsley and crumbled bacon.
Serve warm.
