German Potato Salad
German Potato Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 lb. potatoes, 1 medium onion, salt, pepper and 2 c. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
Wash and boil potatoes.
Cool, then peel. Dice potatoes and onion into large casserole dish. Cut up bacon into small pieces and fry. Drain excessive drippings. Thicken remaining with 2 rounded tablespoonfuls of flour.
Add to potatoes.
Bring to a boil on stovetop the sugar, vinegar, water, salt and pepper.
Pour liquid ingredients over the potatoes.
Bake for 1 1/2 hours at 350Β°.
