German Chocolate Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. sugar, 4 egg yolks, 1 c. butter or margarine, 1 tsp. vanilla and 4 egg whites, stiffly beaten, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Blend sugar and margarine until well blended, then add egg yolks, one at a time, then add flour, milk, flour and milk, ending up with flour.
Add baking powder and vanilla.
Beat egg whites until stiff, then fold them into batter.
Also fold in 1/2 cup German chocolate.
Grease and flour pan; bake at 350Β° for 1 hour.
