Gelatin Sundaes
Gelatin Sundaes is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 pkg. gelatin, 3/4 c. boiling water, 1/2 c. cold water, ice cubes and 1 pt. ice cream, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Dissolve gelatin in boiling water.
Combine cold water and ice cubes to make 1 1/4 cups.
Add to gelatin, stirring until slightly thickened.
Remove any unmelted ice.
Spoon ice cream and gelatin alternately into tall sundae dishes, ending with gelatin and filling to within 1/2-inch of top of dish.
Top with whipped topping and nuts.
Makes 4 servings.
