Funnel Cake
Funnel Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 beaten egg, 2/3 c. milk, 1-1/4 c. flour, 2 tbsp. sugar and 1 tsp. baking powder, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Preheat 2-inches of cooking oil, or Crisco in a deep skillet at 375 degrees.
Combine ingredients in a mixing bowl.
Stir until batter is smooth.
Use a Funnel with about a 3/8-inch opening. Pour about 1/2 c. batter into Funnel holding your finger over the opening.
Holding about 1-inch over the skillet pour batter in circular design.
Let it brown and turn only once.
Remove from pan, drain, and serve hot with Powdered Sugar or Brown Sugar or even Maple Syrup.
