Funnel Cake
Funnel Cake is an moderately easy dessert you can prepare in about 1 hour 26 minutes. Made with c. flour, . soda, . salt, . sugar and . baking powder, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Sift flour, soda, salt, sugar and baking powder in separate bowl.
Mix egg with milk; add to dry ingredients.
(May need more milk it batter is too thick.)
Beat until smooth.
Hold finger over bottom of a funnel and pour in some batter.
Remove finger and let batter drop in a spiral motion into pan filled with 1-inch hot oil (375Β°).
Fry until golden brown, turning once.
Remove from pan and drain on a paper towel.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve hot.
