Fudge Ribbon Cake
Fudge Ribbon Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 tbsp. plus 1/2 c. butter, 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese, 2 1/4 c. sugar, 1 tbsp. cornstarch and 3 eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Grease and bottom of 13 x 9-inch pan.
In small bowl combine
2 tablespoons butter, cheese, 1/4 cup sugar, cornstarch,
1 egg, 3 tablespoons milk and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla. Beat at high speed of mixer until smooth and creamy. Combine remaining ingredients in large mixing bowl.
Blend well, 4 minutes at medium speed.
Spread 1/2 of batter in pan. Spread cheese mixture batter, spreading carefully to cover.
Top with remaining batter; spread to cover.
Bake at 350Β° for 50 to 60 minutes, springs back when lightly touched in center.
Cool and frost.
