Fudge Pudding Cake
Fudge Pudding Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/4 c. sugar, divided, 1 c. all-purpose flour (unsifted), 1/2 c. unsweetened cocoa, divided, 2 tsp. baking powder and 1/4 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Preheat oven to 350Β°.
In a large bowl, combine 3/4 cup sugar, flour, 1/4 cup of cocoa, baking powder and salt.
Stir in 1/2 cup milk, butter and vanilla.
Spread into a buttered 8-inch square baking pan.
Sprinkle remaining 1/2 cup sugar and 1/4 cup cocoa over the batter.
Pour remaining 1 1/2 cups milk over all.
Bake until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean, 30 to 35 minutes.
Cool on a rack to room temperature before serving. "Excellent with ice cream."
