Fruit Compote

Made with 1 (16 oz.) can whole purple plums, pitted, 1 (16 oz.) can sliced peaches, 1 (16 oz.) can pear halves, 1 (13 1/4 oz.) can pineapple chunks and juice of 1 lemon, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Drain fruits and reserve juices.
Put juices, drained from the fruit, in a saucepan.
Add lemon juice and cinnamon stick to juice in saucepan.
Bring to a boil.
Simmer 10 minutes.
Add drained fruit and orange sections and heat through.
Serve hot or chilled. Makes 8 to 10 servings.
